For nearly 30 years, our road service partner has been providing quality road service to the transportation industry. Their years of experience have allowed them to build an extensive managed vendor network of over 20,000 vendors located across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Repair coordinators are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure quality service when you need it.
 
You can rely on our Breakdown Service for emergency roadside needs including mechanical, tire and towing. Service is provided in the most efficient and hassle-free manner possible. Repair coordinators will locate service and follow up with an ETA. Once service is provided, InterStar will handle all billing communications. They have arrangements to direct bill service to most major railroads, steamship lines, chassis pools, and leasing companies. A Direct Bill List can be provided upon request which shows all intermodal equipment owners that can be billed directly for service.
 
For repairs not directly billed to an intermodal equipment owner, a variety of payment options including credit card and electronic checks are available. You may also choose to establish credit with our National Breakdown Service to for invoicing or EDI transactions.
 
The entire repair process is managed and monitored by our National Breakdown Service and can be customized to meet your specific needs. Web-based access to real time data, automated ETA and Roll-Time e-mails, 24-hour breakdown summary e-mails and detailed reporting are provided.
 
Our goal is to get you back on the road as quickly and smoothly as possible. In an effort to expedite the process, driver informational cards can be provided. The wallet sized cards include our repair coordinator’s phone number and all of the information needed to provide prompt service.
